Home made Banh Mi

I know, I know, the seedy baguette isn't right but it was what I could find. I made home-made Spicy Lime Mayo, Do Chua and Black Pepper Marinade Pork Loin. Incredibly delicious. In the future I am hoping I can get the "right" bread at the best asian market.

Quein' again. Alternative title: Rubbin & Grubbin

First, rub an extravagant amount of home-made Garam Masala on the pork Loin of your choice. Then, Smoke roast over cherry wood slowly for about six hours or until you reach temp...

Serve Smoked Loin with Saffron Rice and Turnip & Greens. The Turnips & Greens turned out quite nice. I had never had them before and just cooked them down in some chicken Bouillon. You know, 1 cube with 2 cups boiling water? Then simmer them turnips and greens. Mighty tasty even if I say so myself.

Smoke Roasted Pork Loin

First, select a long play record. This one by Kerry Livgren came out in 1980 and featured Steve Walsh, Phil Ehart and Robbie Steinhardt as well as some vocals by Ronnie James Dio.

Cut up some onions

Saute in olive oil. When carmelized, add chopped rinsed Kale and cook down.

Take a ugly heirloom tomato. Cut it up. Add a little salt and pepper to taste and toss with fresh basil.

Pull the pork loin off the smoker and let it rest.

Eat a delicious dinner of smoked roasted Pork Loin with steamed Baby Reds, Heirloom Tomato Salad and Kale & Onions
